Quantum Base is pioneering a new global standard in preventing counterfeiting and securing physical products through its patented Q-ID® solution. We are incorporated in the United Kingdom and operate out of Lancaster University.

What We Do

Quantum Base is developing and scaling its Q-ID® solution – a quantum-secure unique fingerprint that cannot be copied, cloned or faked. The Q-ID®’s atomic-level security stops counterfeits and prevents fraud, signalling a major step change in product authentication and brand protection.

Counterfeiting is a $2.8 trillion global problem. Q-ID® is one of the most price competitive anti-counterfeit solutions on the market, and its simple integration with all common printing methods enables seamless mass production on almost any physical product.

Using a standard smartphone camera, you can scan the Q-ID® tag, generating an array of product information and allowing for rapid authentication and verification.

By capturing uniqueness at the atomic scale, Quantum Base assures fundamental research-backed security, which is being deployed in the real world through partnerships with leading global players.
