In this presentation, Veridos will discuss the innovative enhancements to the eIDcards recently issued by the Ministry of Interior in Iraq. The ministry has successfully distributed over 41 million eID cards featuring black and white photos. However, a significant upgrade has been made with the integration of Veridos' "CLIP ID" color picture technology, marking a pivotal advancement in security documentation. This technology, which is also implemented in countries such as Bangladesh, Costa Rica, and Latvia, not only enhances the security features of the ID cards but also improves personalization. The presentation will cover the benefits and features of the new eID cards, exploring how the color picture technology enhances security and personalization. Additionally, the potential applications of this technology in other government services and its impact on improving the lives of Iraqi citizens will be discussed.
