Exhibition Opening, Welcome Cocktail and Closing Cocktail Receptions

Throughout the event all delegates are invited to attend our social networking events as part of their conference delegate pass. On Monday 13th June we host the welcome cocktail sponsored by IDEMIA and exhibition opening with over 35 booths presenting the latest developments in security printing and technologies in a relaxed atmosphere.

On Tuesday 14th June the gala dinner takes place at the Tallinn Seaplane Harbour. Details outlined below and on the final evening, we have the closing cocktails, again held within the exhibition area in order to maximise the opportunity to visit providers showing the latest innovations in high security printing features and technologies.

Gala Dinner at Tallinn Seaplane Harbour – sponsored by IDEMIA

The hangars at the Tallinn Seaplane Harbour are the most important engineering landmark in the region. They are thought to be the first large-scale reinforced concrete shell structure in the world. When the hangars were first built, The Builder, a British architectural journal, compared them with Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. By the time the restoration work began in 2009, the building was in disrepair and on the verge of collapsing. Quick action carried out by an experienced team helped to save and refurbish the structure. In 2010 – 2012, the seaplane harbour was renovated as a maritime museum which opened in May 2012.

It has since become Tallinn’s most visited attraction after the Old Town and the most visited museum in Estonia and will be the perfect location for such an event dinner.
